Back in Carolina

Well I am back in North Carolina again, first thing I did was go bowling with some of my old friends whom I haven't seen in a while. I did pretty well really, bowled a 120 my first game, then a meesly 101 followed by a 147. All in all it was a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see my friends whom I haven't seen in a while. Got to spend an evening talking with my friend Wendy Daugherty on the phone, hang out a bit with Jennifer Angley after she stood us up for bowling. Got to hang with Bryan Irvin, Matt Nicholson, and Isaac Martin for a good few days. Then I got to play around with Nikki Hiers and Erin Weston a few times, we had more fun with a yoga ball then I ever dreamed.
Well, now that my playtime is over I guess it's time to get back to work.

This is me, like 25 year ago now I guess. It's funny but I feel in so many ways like i have grown much, still trying to figure out which end is up in this crazy world. Still captivated by things which seem beautiful to me but seem too good to be true. Still trying to make sense of life, trying to live and laugh in the midst of everyone else around me trying to do the same. Life is funny like that.


This next pic is of myself and my late Grandpa Marshall. I still miss him, more than I ever thought I would.

This one is of myself and my mom, she's the most amazing woman I have ever met, I do believe I have tormented her for the last eight years being away. She still lives where I grew up in Sacramento, California while my adventures have led me everywhere else but home. I do believe home will always simply be where she is.

And here I am now, this has become my new home... the mountains of western North Carolina near Asheville. It's beautiful, it's home, there's a part of me that doesn't ever want to leave and a part that feels like the parting is inevitable.
