My new God-daughter... Isabelle

This is my new God-daughter Isabelle. Yep, I am officially a God-father... imagine that. This is one of two daughters of a family here. The couple is a Philippino man named Gabriel and an American woman from Washington named Crystal. Crystal is pretty much the girl version of me and we have become really great friends. They have Isabelle, who just turned one year old yesterday and also have the most gorgeous 4 year old girl whose name is Natalie. Natalie is kind of a pistol now but is just the most beautiful little girl you will ever see, the half philippino/half white children are always so beautiful. So, Crystal told me that in the Philippines children have lots and lots of God-parents who are essentially adopted uncles and aunts... it's like a process of extending family. I never thought she would choose to make me one... especially considering how many people spend time with this adorable little one... so I feel extremely honored to be given such a title. Yeah, now I feel this intense sense of having to protect Izzy... she loves me so much, it's awesome.

This is myself, Isabelle, and Jin... Isabelle's new God-mother who was also graciously given her title. Jin is really sweet to Isabelle too and has also become really sweet friends with Gabe and Crystal. You can see here that Isabelle was feeding me her birthday cupcake... she shared the entire thing with me, alternating bites.

Yeah, she's kind of a mess of course. She likes to make this little face now. Izzy can eat too, let me tell you, she eats twice as much as I do. In fact it is all that Crystal can do to stop feeding this little one. Tell me here little hair sprigs are not the cutest thing in the whole word.

So yeah, I am excited to be blessed and honored to be given this delightful title and watch this beautiful little one grow up. Who would have thought I would have come to Montana and become that God-father of a beautiful little girl who will live probably the rest of her life in the Philippines. Hehe, I am so excited!
