Many Glacier

So this week we had a little bit smaller load of work... so I talked with my friend Sam about trying to go to the other side of Glacier National Park... the East Side. The hard part about going there is that it is a 2 1/2 hour drive around the entire park to get there and it gets a lot more snow and usually isn't open until later. This week we have utterly beautiful weather and the forecast was for 80+ degree weather so we went for it. We ended up having the most beautiful day and found an amazing hike even though we couldn't get to our final location because of the threat of avalanches. These are the pictures from our trip... some are from an area called St. Mary's Lake... which we stopped at just to see... but the area where we hiked was called Many Glacier. So my friends who were with me were Sam from SBS, who is also a NC boy... and one of our new friends, a friend of one of the other students... a girl named Aja from Canada.
