The Shack

So I have yet to finish this book called "The Shack" written by William P. Young... and it is absolutely blowing my mind. It pretty much hits me exactly where I have been for the last few weeks and really for the majority of my life. This past year studying God's word has blown my mind in seeing who He really is and how He really loves humanity. I am still trying to come to grips with the reality of God's love over me... that somehow I am of unbelievable value to him. I have such a hard time receiving that love. I guess the reality is that I don't really love myself in a lot of ways (just being honest here). This book is a beautiful perspective on the relationship God desires for us to have through him... how Jesus makes it all possible... and how the only way we can live in the freedom God offers us is through his working in us. This book will blow your mind... it is indeed for everyone... and yeah, please read it. It might just save your life... it is really the heart of the Bible in a nutshell in many ways. So yeah, when I finish it I will right another post... but please, please, read it.
